Golden Life Circles for Men - GLCM
The heart of a man cries for a life of freedom but the conditioning in the mind overpowers him because it was painfully “engraved” in the mind by society as the man grows from a little boy to an adult man. Hence, the disconnect between how a man lives and the kind of life that the heart authentically yearns for.
In response to the high rise of suicidal cases of men and the imbalance in the cultural expectations for the man, Synergy Youth Kenya in partnership with Tiriji Foundation has created the Golden Life Circles for Men which is a safe space for men to engage in heart-level conversations that enrich their lives. The Circle inspires men to connect their minds, heart, and spirit and step into the freedom of being fully human in the community.
We do this by creating a safe space where men come to find who they really are. A space where men support each other as they illuminate and peel off the layers of programming and conditioning. The space inspires men to seek reconnection with their hearts and spiritual practices. This ultimately inspires them to live authentic and powerful lives which is truly a life of freedom. A Golden Life.
Our approach is that of seeking wisdom from the universe by encouraging deep and authentic conversations from our participants while engaging in spiritual practices that help us remain grounded in our intention of healing, growth, and reconnection with ourselves. It is important to value and honour the beauty that culture brings. Therefore, in our space we share our unique culture that inspires the Ubuntu Philosophy in our communities.
